Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch | September 17–November 8
The first proper fall outing on our list is Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch in Arcadia. Its 2026 season runs September 17 through November 8, with a corn maze, hayrides, pony rides, farm animals, and room for children to spend an afternoon outdoors. Come for the pumpkins and the photos; stay long enough to enjoy the day itself.

Route 66 Centennial Balloon Festival | September 23–27
This is the one to put on the calendar if you want something distinctly Arcadia. The Route 66 Centennial Balloon Festivalis scheduled for September 23–27 at Parkhurst, with hot-air balloons, tethered rides, live music, food trucks, and more. The sight of balloons above the open country along Route 66 should be worth the drive even if you don’t plan to take a ride.

Cycle 66 | October 4
Cycle 66 returns Sunday, October 4, bringing riders of different experience levels to Edmond and the historic Route 66 corridor. Even if you’re not riding, it’s a lively reason to spend a morning in town before heading east for lunch and a look around Arcadia.
Tip: Check the organizer’s route and traffic information if your plans take you across Route 66 that morning.
Round Barn Rendezvous and ROUND-UP | October 11 & 17
Arcadia’s historic Round Barn is worth visiting in any season, but October gives you two reasons to linger. Round Barn Rendezvous is a free acoustic open jam on October 11 from noon to 4 p.m. Then the Round Barn ROUND-UP arrives October 17 as an all-day Route 66 centennial event, with music, art, the Otto Funk Fiddle Contest, line dancing, food, and family activities.

Storybook Forest at Arcadia Lake | October 23–30
For families with young children, Storybook Forest is the October outing to book early. Held at Spring Creek Park on Arcadia Lake, it runs October 23–30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Children follow a lit woodland trail through scenes inspired by familiar stories and collect candy along the way. Campfires, a reading tent, games, and a hayride make it a gentler alternative to a haunted-house Halloween.
Where: 7200 E. 15th Street, Edmond. Tickets are sold in advance for a specific night, and the organizer limits child tickets each evening. Check the event page for ticket and park-entry details.
And what about Jones?
Jones belongs in this guide, even though we haven’t found a confirmed 2026 fall festival in town to list. Its appeal in autumn is less about a single date and more about the setting: country roads, open land, and that welcome change of pace just east of Edmond. If you live in Jones—or are getting to know it—pair a drive through the area with one of the Arcadia outings above.
